I'm such a lover of the flame of your music, and im so glad to ask: What happen in your mind, soul and space when you are composing?

Great question, because I don't really know the answer. It's the "unknown" place where all art lives. I'm just trying to find the portal, the way in...

When I compose, it's very much akin to the art of automatic writing or transcendental meditation. The music conjures the mood that transports me to another place...the place where the song lives.

I almost have to surrender myself to it. and allow the song to take over. Songs are slippery... you must let go where they need to, and be brave enough to follow accordingly.

My music has always been a portal to me. That's why I began composing in the first place...to create the grand escape, a time machine, an elegant netherworld...my own little kingdom.

The most powerful thing in the world is to recreate that energy onstage in front of an audience. Take them on the journey with me.
